This place is TINY. Anything you say in the room is audible to the waiting area. The room itself is so crammed and it was jarring to experience this after having gone to much nicer clinics and had expectations that this would be just as nice, based on the price. I had a great laser tech however I’m giving my review 2 stars for 2 reasons:
1) Difficulty parking and poorly ventilated room. The space would get 0/5 frankly. It just seems unsanitary. Also it would be nice to have a moment of privacy to change before the session starts but that’s impossible since the place is so small
2) touch-ups are limited to 15min when the whole reason for a touch-up session is to go over areas the TECH missed. There shouldn’t be a time limit on an oversight CAUSED BY THE STAFF esp since the full session was already payed for.

Edit: Also touch ups are $95? Front desk never said that’s I’d be paying $95 for a 10 minute touch-up caused by the nurse’s oversight.

SEV- to address your response, my review was to give customer feedback on the poor touch up policy and I have no interest to call to be “educated” on how inefficient this policy. If you value your pts, you should instead better communicate the cost of those touch-ups that are $95 for 10min bc the nurse tech missed the areas that the client already PAID to be treated.

It stared off great. I got three Black Friday deals. Unfortunately, after approximately the first three visits the quality of the treatments and the length of time for each treatment had diminished to the point I stopped wasting my time. The last visit for my face was done by an intern with "supervision" from another therapist and it was really bad. From my understanding from other people who went to SEV in the past, the quality has gotten pretty bad. I feel like I wasted my money buying a package.... Maybe it would be better to pay for services individually. Also, the quality between therapist is a large range. My advice would be to pick the one you like a stick to his or her schedule. 1st time Laserette and I have to say it was hands down the best hair removal experience I’ve ever had. The nurse was SUPER patient and explained the whole process in detail (I was really nervous due to extremely painful waxing a few months prior that left me bruised, inflamed and bumpy) before the session started and continued to communicate what was happening during the entire procedure. She checked in frequently to make sure I was comfortable and her energy was friendly, professional and calm. It’s DEFINITELY less painful than a Brazilian wax, on a scale of 1-10 (1 = pain free, 10 = yoikes get me TF outta here) I’d say it was 2-3 depending on the area and coarseness of hair. The session was quick, the atmosphere was clean and it was very affordable! I would 100% recommend SEV!! Thank you guys!! Xoxo

I really want to thank SEV Laser and all the team. I wanted to wait with the review, until I am seeing the results and now I am at my 8th Brazilian treatment.
I had 6 treatments at Calabasas location and now transferred to West Hollywood one, because it is closer.
Both are great.

- Results: started seeing results right after second treatment. Skin & growing hair softened, and hair started appearing patchy.
-Team: Absolutely love all the nurses, very caring, supportive, and attentive. Make me feel very comfortable.
- Spa: Style and design of the spa is incredible, clean and pleasant to be at.
- Laser: Mainly, the laser itself has a benefit: not skin to skin contact, it is so important for me, esp on the intimate zone. And the cooling air makes the process so much less painful.
- Pricing: SEV always has a great deals or promotion deals. That makes treatments more affordable and gives Sev priority comparing to other companies.
- Information: They make extra sure you warned and best informed on how to make the whole treatment process most safe.

Huge advise:
After I finished with Calabasas location I had two treatments with a different company with a different type of laser, that has skin to skin contact, and works with cooling gel. Not only it reversed my results, and hair grew back as if I never started treatment, but it was also very unpleasant process. I ran back to SEV, and wished I never changed the company, I had no idea there is a deference between lasers. Lesson learned. I do not advise to change the laser type if you like your results.
The second I had next treatment with Sev laser again, luckily I saw a great result right away.

Very corporate and you never know how the employees are being treated but everyone I’ve encountered and texted with has been very kind. I’ve had like 15 laser appointments in total in the last 2 something years on underarms and bikini and after each appointment the hair stays away for like 2 months but then starts coming back so I’m starting to doubt it will ever stay away longer than that.

I’ve been going to Sev laser since 2011 and I wouldn’t go anywhere else! The environment is beautiful and very zen and everyone is always so professional. The actual laser experience is gentle with very little pain. Always a great experience.
