It does not work. Read your contract there it says that results are not guaranteed, that should have given me a warning ,and not buy 2 packages, I sent my complaint by mail and no one answered me.

I started using Prime Laser in 2016 and purchased multiple laser treatment packages over the years and initially had good results. After taking a break between 2021 and 2024, I resumed treatment this year (I used to visit their Katy location, but after moving, I switched to the Sugar Land location for convenience).

This year, I’ve had four laser sessions, each spaced a month apart, but I’ve seen no hair shedding or improvement. During my third session, I asked the technician to increase the intensity, and she set it to 20 j/cm2. Despite this, I experienced no shedding at all.

So, for my fourth session, I again requested a higher intensity. The technician moved me to a different room, explaining that each machine has a specific intensity setting. When I asked her to go beyond 20 j/cms, she said she needed the manager’s approval.

The manager informed me that 20 j/cms was the highest setting they would use on my skin type (am black with caramel skin color) despite my explaining that this level wasn’t working and I had no shedding at all. She insisted that it simply means I would need to buy more sessions to see results. This left me frustrated, because I am not a novice to laser hair removal and I used to have good results, but now I felt like I was being told to keep shaving and returning monthly for ineffective treatments without any noticeable progress.

When I checked other reviews, I saw many similar complaints, indicating a shift in the business’s priorities. It seems they’re more focused on pushing customers to buy more sessions rather than achieving results.

I am writing this review exactly 2-weeks post my last session, my hair is growing back and not a single hair has shed.

Overall, I’m extremely disappointed in this business’s approach and won’t be spending any more money here.

There are several technicians here in sugar land location Naomi is truly the best . If she is not available I would wait for my treatment so only she works on me . Every time she does my treatment , I feel prettier right after . Naomi is extremely patient and gives you the time to make sure you are happy with her services . Prime Laser , you have a star !!!

I came into prime laser with tons of hair on my body, but just in few sessions I saw major difference. The staff here make you feel welcomed and are super kind. And it’s not painful at all.

I went into this like a lot of women, just wanting to stop shaving. I did the math to calculate the lifetime expense of shaving/waxing versus doing laser treatment, and concluded it made sense. I was initially under the impression during this decision making process that I’d have a set of six sessions and be done, but that actually turned out not to be a good understanding, because at one point after I signed on I was informed I’d likely need touch ups, so expect to buy more appointments. It threw my earlier math off but I decided I’d buy a second session anyway if necessary because I valued my time and really didn’t want to do any more grooming.

So, I went every six weeks for two sets of sessions, taking time out of my work days and driving through traffic for a total of over a year, and you can see in my photo my result. I have maybe half of my hair gone? Other areas I had treated are similar. I never stopped having to shave the whole time, and continue to do so. My hair is medium brown and my skin is light, so I really thought I’d have better results. I’m significantly over budget and didn’t get what I wanted. I thought there would at least be a period of time when I could be done with shaving but that didn’t happen, and had I bought another set like I was being offered, conservatively the appointments would have dragged on for at least two years before I finished. Assuming the hair went away.

At one point I was notified I had to tell my staff member to increase the intensity of the laser. I found this perplexing because how would a patient/customer with no experience with lasers know to tell the professional to adjust their machine? And didn’t the center keep track of my appointments and default to increasing the intensity based on that? Wasn’t that the whole plan communicated at the beginning? Honestly, I feel that responsibility should not have been mine.

Anyway, $1,200 later I have given up and did not buy any more treatments. I’ll probably pay a little more but finish at my dermatologist’s office eventually.

Customer service-wise, most of the staff were pretty good, but one or two of them could be pushy about getting me to buy other procedures. Which was kind of unpleasant. It was similar to the now-familiar experience women have of going to a salon for a haircut but being told they need their eye brows done too because they don’t look good. Just grabbing for additional business by making the customer self conscious. Not a fan.

All in all, I’m not super in love with my experience. I mean, I guess you can give it a try, and maybe you will have more luck than I did, but. My year+ of appointments definitely doesn’t have me recommending this place, personally.
