I'd never done laser hair removal or even waxing, so I was very nervous, but Jillian was SO fun and very professional. Her facility and setup is basic but it doesn't affect your experience. Can't recommend enough! If anything I'm sad it was so effective that I won't see more of Jillian!

Laser hair removal is not an easy decision to make, nor an easy thing to find who can do it for you with a long list of expectations.
However, I was able to find the right person to it, it's Jillian at her place "Northern Virginia Hair Laser." I was so happy to find out about her place. Jillian does know what she is doing, long awesome experience, and very nice work, and an amazing fast results.
I love her work, and I love the great explanations that make you feel comfortable, and the most I love is the fabulous customer service her place gives.

Jillian is a one woman operation.  No fancy salon. She has one room in a nail salon in Springfield, so no spa type setting. That means she can keep her costs down. Personally I don't need a gilded office, I just need an experienced tech who knows her stuff. That's Jillian. She has over 20 years in the business. Better than getting some young 20-something tech you may find at the larger establishments.

Jillian is very attentive. She'll take whatever time it takes with you. No rush job. She will also shave you if you've missed some spots, which I always do. Some places plainly state they do not shave. Her equipment is one of the best lasers in the industry. (I researched it). Not all laser machines are the same. She will appropriately space out your sessions. If a place tells you they recommend sessions every 4 weeks, leave immediately. They're just there to take your money and hurry  you through. For example, I go every 10 weeks for my Brazilian. A couple of weeks less for other areas.  Jullian  tailors a plan based on the area done and your hair growth speed.

At consultation, she did a couple of test laser zaps to check my skin reaction (not all places will offer to test you at consult). Having the test zaps  is also an opportunity for you to understand the pain that is involved so you will be prepared for your first visit. It is excruciating. You MUST have a numbing regimen. Don't believe the people when they say it feels like a rubber band snap. NO! You will start questioning life itself when that laser hits you if you aren't properly numb in certain sensitive areas.

Towards the end of my consultation, as I was lying on the table, I felt so comfortable with her, I literally said to her, "I like you Jillian. I'm not going to bother looking anywhere else" (she was the first place I went to for a consultation). I felt like I had known her for years. And I'm not kidding.

I have had a few sessions done. I am very pleased with my results.
