This is easily the best haberdashery I have ever been to. Kai is truly a master craftsman and artisan. He is a perfectionist, detail oriented, and incredibly kind. I would support him even if his clothes weren't world class. His clothes are a modern take on classic men's fashion and I've never seen anything like it at this level. His appreciation for fabrics and style are unrivaled and you can see it in the beauty of his work.

Price point is a point of contention in the reviews on here, because it is expensive. However, Kai not only designs the clothes, he goes to several local New York businesses to digitize designs, cut the clothes, sow the clothes, makes all the choices for fit, and on top of this, runs his store to provide amazing service. Every single piece is a work of art that is made with a love for menswear and a niche place in the market that other major companies can only "try" to compete in. He could double his prices and get a bunch of finance bros that buy things because of a price tag or because it's "instagrammable," but he loves his clients because he knows they are making an investment, but still appreciate his artistry.

I was there for 5 hours trying piece after piece and I was only met with kindness because I don't live in NYC, but I'm a new customer for life. I spent thousands and I feel like I've stolen from him. I feel way cooler than I am because of him. Thank you Kai!

Amazing mens shop! I was there with a client helping him build his wardrobe and we found the best tailored pants. The construction and attention to detail in the pattern making and sewing are pristine. A wonderful selection of sweaters, jackets, coats, gloves, scarves, hats and jewelry. It is a more expensive store however worth the investment. Also the sales associate was very helpful, attentive and made our shopping experience very enjoyable. Will be coming back with more of my personal styling clients!

Absolutely incredible mens shop with very high quality, locally made shirts, blazers, suspenders, hats, and jackets. All ethically made by Kai and his team in NYC using very high quality materials- cotton, linen, silks, etc…

These pieces are very special - each one thoughtfully made and designed for a very dapper look. My partner adores this store and knows the garments are incredibly high quality and made ethically. This place is truly the antithesis of fast fashion. It’s a great spot for investment pieces.

Be sure to ask for help from Kai and Moon- they are so friendly and thoughtful. We came in with a pair of thrifted men’s shoes and they helped us build a 1920’s inspired outfit around them.

This is my favorite spot for men’s fashion in all of New York. Most of my favorite garments have come from this shop. The clothes are stylish, classic and made to last. The style: think early 20th century American, a la Malick’s Days of Heaven, with a splash of Tokyo and London. On several occasions, Kai has repaired the garments he sold to me free of charge when I brought them in with some damage. He is in the shop every day. It is a wonderful experience to purchase a garment from the person who designed it: I don’t know anywhere else in New York where one can have that experience. Although I come in only once or twice per year, Kai remembers what he has sold me in the past, and my size, and can make recommendations based on these. His clothing isn’t cheap, but it’s nowhere near as expensive as your typical high-end luxury brand, where you’re paying for the label at least as much as for the garment. If you like men’s fashion, do not miss this gem.

클래식하면서 옷 핏감이 좋음.
좋은 옷감의 재질를 써서 우아함을 연출.
여기 주인이 일본인인데 직접 뉴욕에서 옷 만드시고 사이즈별로 한벌씩만 만드시는거 같아.
가격대는 있지만 재질과 재조과정 들어보면 이해가 감.
사실 잘 알려져 있진 않지만 윌리엄스버그 지역이 점점 한국인들 사이로 핫해지면서 곧 여기도 떡상할거같아.
특별한건 로고에 made in New York 있어.
