I would not go here. There are much better places in town. They have no issues with cancelling your appointment the day of or even after you arrive. The communication here is also awful! I had a Groupon for them. They pushed my appointments back until it expired. I spoke to them and they said they would still honor it. When I showed up for my appointment they said they wouldn’t and my appointment is cancelled. I wouldn’t buy a Groupon and definitely would not go here.

I had treatment at this place for two years from 2019 to 2021. There is nothing good that I can say about this place, the technicians, and the owner. When I signed up for full upper body treatment, the owner told me I was going to receive as many laser sessions as I needed to be hair free. Well, I only got 9, and the last one, he did it "for free as a favor" and I had to drive to Amarillo. As many other reviews say here, the equipment is extremely old and faulty and it overheats every 5 mins and a session that was scheduled for 1 hour can easily be 3 hours because of his outdated equipment. Furniture is super old as well. Technicians quit and get hired all the time. I never had a technician that I saw more than twice and that didn't burn my skin and skipped lots of areas in my body. The way the technicians talk about the owner, that just says it all. The owner is a greedy and deceiving individual, saying all the time he is "updating his protocols" and that patches of hair is normal when I could see the technician skipping vast areas on my body. He is just a charlatan. My skin was burned multiple times as you can see in the pictures, I really don't think I had a session where I wasn't burned. I honestly should have sued this so called "Dr. Neel", owner of all these clinics around Texas. After trying a different place, I got amazing results, in half of the time, definitely way less than the $7k Neel robbed me, and not even once I was burned. I DO NOT RECOMMEND this place at all.

I’ve had great improvement with my chin hair removal journey. I’m about 3 sessions in and 40% on the improvement. I have little to no course hair and my confidence has gone up significantly knowing I don’t have to worry about a missed chin hair. Thank you for all the help!

Doctor was extremely thorough during our first consult and got me started that day! Just after 1 session I noticed immediate progress! The staff is so sweet and helpful. I will forever recommend American Laser Med Spa!

Update: they have really made an effort to get in contact with me to see how they can make things right. Which was much appreciated. They have definitely gone above and beyond with that. 2nd appt went well and appreciated the time and attention that went into it. The have definitely put the time and attention in to make sure my experience was much more pleasant. Worst place ever! Don’t waste your $. Purchased a package and have been trying since March to get treatments done. Every time my appointment is near they send a text saying their equipment is down or they are “short staff” and can hopefully get me in soon. What a joke. Showed up to one appt and the doors were locked. A waste of my time and $. Find a better place than this!

I have gotten grate service from Laura. She’s professional. Laura started my laser hair removal a little after I had my baby. I had some serious bad facial hair, discoloration and razor bump due to hormonal changes. My chin and under neck was completely clear with in the first two treatment. I had a lot of postpartum anxiety and Laura really helped me feel confidently.

Way overrated, machines not maintained, they keep breaking down. They don’t respect appointments. They cancelled me twice without prior notice. They got fully paid and they still owe me one session, and that session has been waiting for 3 months.

American Laser Med Spa Lubbock has really brought my confidence back. Everyone I have ever dealt with has been AMAZING as well. Will definitely be continuing to use them for additional hair removal when the time comes!!!
