Don’t waste your time here. The first time I went, I was really impressed with what they had. The last two times I’ve tried to go here, not so much. The second time I showed up, no one ever came out to even acknowledge my presence. I called the number and got a sleepy sounding individual who told me that they were out of bait. The last time I went, no one came out, and no one would answer the phone. I found a nice place just above lake Bowen that has everything you would need for fishing, and the are actually open and available when they say they are!

Called in to see what bai fish the bass are chasing in Blalock because I have never been. Some gentleman answered the phone to inform me he doesn’t fish (works at bait shop) and hung up the phone. Great approach! To the internet I go!

It's not the biggest, but it is the best. Starting with the pleasantness and helpfulness of "Marilyn". Followed by live bait (Minnows, neon green worms etc.) , that was still alive at the end of the "fishing day". I actually gave some to a fisherman and his kids fishing from the bank. I read reviews of other shops in the area. That's why I went to D & D's. By the way, I live a hour or more away. D & D'S Is very close to a lot of lakes and waterways in the area. Even if they don't have everything you need, go there for the things they do have because it will be better than the rest.

This man was very helpful, nice little set up with an assortment of everything you need. rods tackle live bait and competitive pricing... located close to lake blalock park. will definitely be using this shop for my fishing needs
